It's always a pleasure to work with small businesses and one particularly close to my heart is The Green Place. We've been working together for several years now. I created their logo and yearly we produce a brochure and posters to advertise events.
A working example of ethical green living ideas, The Green Place is situated in Sileby, Leicestershire. They offer a fair trade cafe, ethical gift shop and wildlife garden. It's a fun place for children and adults alike to gain an appreciation of nature and a sustainable lifestyle.
They also offer everything from musical events and film nights to spoon carving, paper weaving, and sign making workshops. A great day out for all the family. The cafe, garden and yurts are also available for hire for parties and workshop space.
This year's 'Music at the Greenplace' event is being held on 10th June. Celebrating 50 years since the summer of love, with a plethora of musicians, activities, stalls, pizza, bbq and a 'best dressed hippy' competition.
The Green Place certainly proved a hit with my little friend Jasmine when we visited recently. Find them on Facebook.
